Upon the release in Italy of his film Babylon, Damien Chazelle encountered the first- and second-year students of the CSC – Scuola Nazionale di Cinema (the Italian National Film School) and gave a masterclass, organized in collaboration with Eagle Pictures. Film journalist and TV writer Hakim Zejjari moderated the masterclass. Opposite the film director of Whiplash, La La Land, and First Man was Academy Award winner Paolo Sorrentino (The Great Beauty). Still thanks to Eagle Pictures, one of the CSC students, Simone Sadocco, had the opportunity to meet Chazelle for an exclusive interview.
