Ph.D. in Semiotics and Media. Researcher in Film, Photography and Television at the University of Turin. His work focuses on film, media studies, and semiotics. He has published essays in peer-reviewed journals and contributed chapters to both Italian and international books. He has presented papers at conferences and seminars in Italy, across Europe, in China and the United States, organised conferences both in Italy and abroad, and has been actively involved in public engagement and third mission activities. He is an active member of CIRCe, the Interdepartmental Research Centre on Communication, and CIRMA, the Research Centre for Audiovisual and Multimedia Studies. He is also part of the editorial boards of the journals La valle dell’Eden and Immagine.
