The magazine, published in Paris since 1901 and accompanied by beautiful colour and black and white photographs, aimed to enhance the French fashion, which was still prevailing throughout Europe. Images of long chiffon dresses are reproduced, elegant and precious fabric used mainly for evening dresses, as well as those of important accessories such as gloves, lace collars, richly adorned hats. In particular, the parasol umbrella, precious completion of every female dress, intended to repair the face from the sun while keeping the skin white, indispensable requirement of beauty for every woman of the time.
