This is a selection of works on the life of Luigi Chiarini, who helped establish the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and the «Bianco e Nero» magazine. He was also the first University lecturer in Italy to teach “Film history and criticism” and directed the Venice International Film Festival between 1963 and 1968.
