After his first experiences with Chiari and other set designers, he worked as a scenographer for several internationally acclaimed directors, such as Bolognini, Ferreri, Troisi, Benigni, Bertolucci, Tornatore, Montaldo, Cavani, Faenza, Virzì, Placido, Castellitto, Gibson, Radford, for over 80 films. He has received many international and national awards, including three David di Donatello, three Nastri d’Argento e three Ciak d’oro.
