If at that time it is ascertained that even one of the requirements is not met (e.g. that the diploma declared by the candidate is not – or is not equivalent to – a secondary school diploma), the candidate is excluded from the course without prejudice to any sanctions for making false or misleading declarations. Therefore, the candidate’s admission to the exam is not a guarantee that all the requirements have been met. All communications from the Foundation will be addressed to the e-mail address indicated by each candidate during registration. The Foundation accepts no responsibility for any misunderstandings due to incorrect or missing communications.

C) Commissions and evaluation criteria

The Selection Commissions are appointed by the President of the Foundation, after consultation with the Headmaster. Members are chosen based on proven artistic and/or teaching skills.

Depending on the number of applications received, Examination Board may be set up for each course and for each selection phase, if necessary.

The Headmaster decides the methods of assigning the marks for the second and third selective stages and for the final admission to the courses.

The Evaluation Commission may recommend particularly meritorious candidates to the Headmaster for admission to years subsequent the first.

The evaluation of the Commission during the three selection phases is unquestionable.

In case of non-admission, no motivation will be provided.

A course may not be activated if at least six candidates have been considered eligible.

1st selection phase: evaluation of the submitted documentation

Following verification of the requirements fulfilment set out in the announcement, the selection of the candidates to be admitted to the second phase – the on-site exams – will be carried out by a Special Commission, that will review the documentation and material submitted by the candidate.

The list of candidates admitted to the second selection phase will be published – at least seven days before the date of the call for applications – on Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia’s website (www.fondazionecsc.it), approximately by July 18th 2021.

At the end of the tests, the list of candidates admitted to the third selection phase (preparatory seminar) will be available on Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia’s website (www.fondazionecsc.it) by July 31st 2021. Evaluation grades will be expressed out of 30.
