On 19, 20 and 21 June 2024, the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia will open its doors to artists, filmmakers, and writers from places affected by war for three days of encounters, masterclasses, and screenings, as well as a photographic exhibition, a vivid snapshot of the historical moment we are living through. The event will be held at the historic CSC headquarters in 1520 Via Tuscolana, in Rome.
Diaspora degli artisti in guerra is the name of the cultural and educational event, which is financed by PNNR funds, and positions the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia as a participant in and the driving force behind a discussion aimed at much-desired change, paying specific attention to training and creativity. The event includes a call for tenders for training, open to everyone over the age of 18 with a maximum number of participants of 400 students (please note that the deadline reported in the call for tenders has been extended to 16 June, at 12:00 pm), which proposes that the enrollees, assisted by the CSC teachers, film the encounters and the spontaneous synergies that will arise between the artists and the participants with a view to producing a testimonial film.
