Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, as part of the Cinecittà Project, under the PNRR Mission: Mission 1 – Digitalization, Innovation, Competitiveness, Culture, and Tourism | M1C3 – Tourism and Culture 4.0 | M1C3 – Cultural and Creative Industry 4.0 | Investment 3.2: Film Industry Development (Cinecittà Project) funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, aims with this Call to identify, select, and train young students to support the evolution of cultural and creative industry operators, strengthening professional skills and competencies in the audiovisual sector, particularly in facilitating technological transition.

General objectives

The objective of the course is to provide the knowledge and technical-practical skills in intellectual property matters necessary for anyone who wants to work in the audiovisual or entertainment industry, either as author or producer.

The course does not want to neglect a practical approach, analyzing some contracts inherent in the various stages of production of cinematographic and audiovisual products: development (contracts with authors, options, even literary works etc.); production (director and actor contracts, releases, licences, product placement, which will be given special attention, etc.); contracts, co-production, pre-purchase rights contracts; distribution (distribution agreements, sales mandates, sales, licensing, etc.).
