This booklet was born thanks to the generous donation, in 2012, of a sizable selection of documents about Ennio De Concini by his heirs to the “Luigi Chiarini” Library of the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. Through a careful process of research and analysis within such a vast and diverse material, the curators made every effort to portray the eclecticism of this man of cinema, who worked as screenwriter, comedy writer, journalist, film director and writer.
