The call for selection to the 2022/2025 three-year courses of the CSC - Scuola Nazionale di Cinema, among the oldest and most prestigious film schools in the world, a training place for generations of leading figures in Italian cinema for more than 80 years, has been published.

Starting June 1 (until July 15, 2022 at 12.00 PM), it will be possible to submit applications electronically exclusively through the online application procedure published on the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia website (https://www.fondazionecsc.it/ammissione/).

The Scuola Nazionale di Cinema's educational programs are spread over a three-year period and aim at a comprehensive training of students, capable of combining tradition and innovation, research and experimentation, by stimulating to the highest degree the processes of collaboration between all the technical and artistic components that contribute to the creation of a cinematographic and audiovisual work.

The Diploma awarded by the Scuola Nazionale di Cinema of the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, with the exception of the Audiovisual Heritage Conservation and Management course, is equivalent to the L-03 (DAMS) three-year Bachelor's degree, according to Ministerial Decree No. 378 of April 24, 2019.

In this regard, it should be noted that as of this year the Audiovisual Heritage Conservation and Management course becomes fully, and permanently, part of the official courses of the CSC, settling in the main office in Rome.

Among the artistic directors of the CSC courses, the new entries of Alba Rohrwacher (Acting), Viola Prestieri (who co-directs the Production course with Gianluca Arcopinto), Daniela Bassani and Adriano Di Lorenzo (Sound) are worthy of note.

One year after the new Board of Directors took office, moreover, the CSC - Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia is happy to announce the completion of the Foundation's Organs, starting with the newly appointed Scientific Committee, composed of - in addition to President Marta Donzelli - actress, director and screenwriter Valeria Golino, director and screenwriter Claudio Giovannesi, costume designer Massimo Cantini Parrini, university professor Maria Paola Pierini and film critic and programmer Lorenzo Esposito.

The CSC's organizational chart is also enriched with Deputy Director Maria Bonsanti, who brings to the CSC her decades of experience in the field of cultural organization and management, as well as well-established relationships with the most prestigious international organizations.
